This has been an ongoing project since 2004. In the years since then, I have closely observed and recorded winter events in New York, specifically focusing on their school-related impacts. Having established relationships between snow and school closures, I continue to actively apply this knowledge by publicly publishing winter-weather and school-impact forecasts. Through these forecasts I also assess and refine various methods of graphically representing information and communicating impacts. My website at  KingstonSnows.com was visited 53,986 times by 11,369 users during the 2019-2020 winter season.
